Founder's Message
When I started SLATE in 2001, I wasn't simply opening a school. I was pursuing a lifelong belief - that children deserve an education that prepares them not just for examinations, but for life itself.
Over the years, I have worked in many different roles that shaped this belief. I was selected to be a part of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) through the Civil Services, founded Apex to mentor Civil Services aspirants, worked as a career counsellor, and contributed as a feature writer for Eenadu and Andhra Jyothi. Each experience taught me that success comes from strong values, independent thinking, and a willingness to keep learning.
These varied experiences, from Civil Services preparation to mentoring young minds to writing for the public, all pointed me toward the same conclusion: real learning happens when children are given the freedom to question, the support to fail safely, and the guidance to grow into thoughtful individuals.
That conviction became the foundation of SLATE. Every decision we make, from our curriculum to our classroom culture, is guided by the belief that a school's true purpose is to prepare children for the life ahead of them, not just the exams in front of them.
